How can we combat code and idea theft while remaining open source? Boinc administrators are deleting all my messages and posts. How can I intervene against these code thieves? What are your suggestions?

It turns out that the code for the Yarrow project was stolen by a bully named Skillz. He's going to take my project and publish it as if it were his own. Since the statistics website is also under his control, he can do whatever he wants. A few labor thieves who don't produce ideas or put in any effort.

What about GitHub policy violation if there's any? I don't know really how OpenSource should work in this situation. How could it be protected then?

We could release the code as closed source, but then people would attack us everywhere. Even though we already have open-source code, they're slandering us for no reason in all the forums. I have no idea why people are behaving like this; it's very abnormal. It's like they're in a state of hysteria, or maybe they're all bot accounts controlled by one or two people.

I don't understand such behaviour either. Some people may think they are the Dev-Inquisition and your are the Code-Infidel )) That's just ridiculous. Don't let them demotivate you.
